The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on Monday issued an air quality advisory Monday for Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Kenosha, and Columbia counties.

The "orange" advisory which took effect Monday afternoon, is expected to last until 11 p.m.

An orange advisory means air quality conditions are unhealthy for sensitive groups as the air quality index (AQI) reaches levels between 101-150.

For conditions to be considered "good," or "green," AQI numbers must drop below 50.
