No more frowning! The smiley barn off I-94 in Delafield is coming back.
The city’s planning commission approved a proposal to restore the famous face along I-94.
The yellow barn was painted more than 15 years ago. The new owner says she’s happy to bring it back.
“We're thrilled. the entire community was behind this. There wasn't one negative comment about bringing back the smiley. And over a thousand people signed the petition. So it’s really a win for the entire community,” said owner Maria Luther.
The smile could be back up by July. Then the smiley barn will open in August as a candy store.
