Deadly shootings continue in Milwaukee, claiming 2 lives

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police are investigating a triple shooting — including one fatality — that occurred about 11:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 4500 block of North 85th Street.

In 24 hours, there were four fatalities in Milwaukee. Two people were stabbed to death Wednesday. Another person was shot to death Wednesday night.

An argument ensued between a man and a woman outside, when a relative came out to assist, according to police.

The argument reportedly turned physical. The male suspect began shooting, striking three women, ages 41, 23, and 21, MPD said.

The 41-year-old suffered a serious gunshot wound, and she died at the scene, police said. The 23-year-old and 21-year-old suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Police are searching for a known suspect, and the investigation continues.

In a separate incident, MPD is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred about 8:07 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of West Kilbourn.

An argument ensued between a group of people when shots were fired. A 25-year-old man suffered a serious gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are searching for known suspects, and the investigation continues.
