Milwaukee triple shooting: 1 dead, 2 injured after shooting near 92nd & Congress

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a triple shooting that left 1 person dead, and 2 injured on Wednesday, April 10.

The shooting happened near N. 92nd St. & W. Congress St., at 8:15 p.m.

According to police, a 27-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, despite life-saving measures. According to the Milwaukee Medical Examiner, the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.

The two injured in the shooting, a 44-year-old and a 34-year-old, were taken to the hospital, and then taken into custody by Milwaukee Police.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation, however it appears to be domestic violence-related.

Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
