The group raising money to erect a statue of the famous South Milwaukee wrestler Reggie “Da Crusher” Lisowski has officially reached its goal.
On Facebook, the group shared a screenshot of their GoFundMe page, showing it surpassed its $40,000 fundraising goal.
Last month the group held a fundraiser including a number of other famous wrestlers who knew Da Crusher. At that time the group had raised $36,000, mostly through small donations.
Now that the group has reached its goal, they plan to consider proposals from different businesses to create “Da Bronze Crusher" statue.
