INDIANAPOLIS — A homicide investigation is underway on the southeast side of Indianapolis after human remains were found near a creek.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 1:30 p.m. to the 2500 block of Villa Avenue after people found possible human remains near a creek, IMPD Officer Gene Cook said. When they arrived, they located human remains inside of the suitcase.
At this time, police have not released the identity of the victim or any possible suspects.
