WISCONSIN — Cousins Subs will be asking cash customers to round up their total when paying, in order to account for the coin shortage in the U.S.
The coronavirus pandemic has caused a coin shortage across the nation, so Cousins Subs is doing what they can to adapt by asking customers to round up.
The request comes from Cousins Subs locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.
While paying more may not sound appealing, it's important to note that the additional change will go towards local Boys and Girls clubs across the state.
In an e-mail, Cousins Subs said the initiative, "provides the opportunity for guests to support the nonprofit organization’s efforts to make it better for youth in their community."
