MILWAUKEE — The city of Milwaukee will be offering free flu vaccines beginning Thursday at two drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites.

Anyone who visits the COVID-19 testing sites at Northwest Health Center, 7630 W Mill Rd., or Southside Health Center, 1639 S 23rd St., will be able to both get testing for the coronavirus and also receive a flu vaccine.

The sites are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., or while supplies last.

The vaccines are totally free for members of Milwaukee communities.

According to a press release from the city of Milwaukee, an influenza (flu) vaccination will be essential to reduce the impact of respiratory illnesses in the population and resulting burdens on the healthcare system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
