The Milwaukee Police Department is working to determine the circumstances behind a crash involving a Milwaukee County Transit System bus that left a man and child injured.
Authorities responded to the intersection of 27th and Vliet about 4:40 p.m. for reports of a crash after a vehicle ran a red light. The car subsequently crashed into an MCTS bus, police said. Paramedics transported a 9-year-old child and 56-year-old man to area hospitals.
Traffic was temporarily diverted while authorities cleared the scene.
