ASHIPPUN -- A child was ejected from an SUV after it crashed into a utility pole Thursday afternoon.
The one-vehicle wreck happened at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Town Road MM West of Jefferson Road.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said the driver, a 32-year-old woman from Horicon, was going west on Town Road MM when she lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to enter a ditch, and strike a steep embankment and utility pole.
The 3-year-old was flown to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was not injured.
Authorities said alcohol appears to be a contributing factor in the crash.
