The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office and Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a crash involving a car and a semi-truck Tuesday, Dec. 29 on I-94 WB at CTH ML in Kenosha County.
According to a State Trooper, one passenger was dead upon arrival, and the other occupant was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Suspected marijuana and unknown pills were located inside the victim's car, according to officials.
The identities of both victims are unknown at this time. The Medical Examiner is working on identifying the victims.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
State Patrol is performing a post-crash inspection of the semi, and a reconstruction is being performed by a State Patrol Traffic Reconstructionist.
