Get referrals and check out the reputation of the provider.
Get more than one estimate that includes cost, details of the type of service to be performed, and terms and conditions on who will provide service, when, and how services will be performed.
Get a detailed, signed contract with the provider’s street address and phone number, along with proof of insurance. And, think twice before paying in full for the entire season.
