A 34-year-old woman from California was killed in a crash on HWY 83 in Delafield Wednesday, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff.
The sheriff said in a news release it appeared the woman was driving an SUV northbound when she lost control and hit a box truck near Glacier Pass.
A 50-year-old man from Thiensville was headed south in the box truck. He was not injured.
The sheriff said the woman died at the scene, despite life-saving efforts.
The accident shut down HWY 83 for a couple hours.
