MILWAUKEE — USA Basketball announced the 44 finalists for the 2020 Olympic Basketball Team on Monday, and there are two especially familiar names on the list.
Bucks' center Brook Lopez and Bucks' small forward Khris Middleton are two of the 44 finalists.
The release of these 44 names is the first step towards identifying the 12 players who will represent U.S. Basketball in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The team, which will be coached by 5-time NBA champion Gregg Popovich, will take part in the 2020 Olympic Games from July 24, through Aug. 9.
Within the 44 finalists named, there are 21 NBA teams represented along with the USA 2019 World Cup team.
Alongside Middleton and Lopez, you'll find big names like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant.
