OAK CREEK — Last weekend in Oak Creek, a buck was found stuck in a hammock.
The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at Wisconsin Humane Society was called to a suburban backyard to free the animal. The buck was safely sedated, tagged and given medication before it walked away.
Every year, the center gets calls about wild animals getting caught in nets.
The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is asking for citizens to take down their recreational nets when they are not in use to avoid wildlife harm.
