BROWN DEER — The Brown Deer Police Department celebrated one of their own Friday when K9 Vader retired from his duties.
K9 Vader has been serving the Brown Deer community since 2012, so citizens headed to the police department Friday to thank him and send him off.
The department had everything from snacks to refreshments to cake. And get this, the cake had a picture of Vader on it.
