"All clear" given at Brookfield business after suspicious package was found

UPDATE:

BROOKFIELD -- The "all clear" has been given at a Brookfield business after a suspicious package was found Tuesday afternoon. 

Brookfield Police and the Milwaukee Bomb squad responded and say the package in question was not harmful.

No other information has been released at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY:

BROOKFIELD -- A suspicious package investigation is underway in Brookfield.

The suspicious package was reported to police around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 13000 block of Bishops Drive. 

Brookfield Police say an employee of a business received a package in the mail from a business family to him.  

As he started to open the package, it appeared odd and the suspect became concerned.   He brought the item into the parking lot and called the police.    

The area in the parking lot is cordoned off and the Milwaukee County Bomb Squad has been called to investigate.

No other information has been released at this time.
