Brookfield man dies in crash on I-94 near Johnson Creek

JOHNSON CREEK, Wis. (WISC) - A Brookfield man is dead after being struck by debris from a semi truck while driving on I-94 near Johnson Creek. 
 
The Wisconsin State Patrol told WISC-TV  that around 5 p.m. Monday, a semi was driving westbound on I-94 in Jefferson County near Johnson Creek when a piece of the truck's  brake system broke off and struck the head of eastbound driver who has been identified as 51-year-old Jay Winton of Brookfield.
Authorities are still trying to locate the driver of the westbound semi truck.
