'Bring some of his game into our game': Jerry Kelly on Cologuard Classic with Aaron Rodgers

MILWAUKEE — On Wednesday, Jerry Kelly spoke about his link to Cologuard, a Madison-based company, and the Cologuard Classic, where in the past he's been in the Pro-Am with Aaron Rodgers.

"I have not spoken with Aaron since the end of the season," Jerry Kelly says. "I like to let him decompress a little bit. And it'll be on his terms, if he wants to play. He feels pretty strongly about the event. He played with Deana Golis, who we lost in November, so he feels a special connection to the tournament as well."

"As for the fun we have? I mean it's unbelievable. I mean we're playing a game. You know, bring some of the jumping shoulder bumps and things like that, bring some of his game into our game. And you know, the more that you can be an athlete, and enjoy the game that you play, the better you're going to play. The more emotion you bring, the better you're going to play. As long as it's the right emotion," Kelly said.

"I know I've been tough going down the ol' mumble tank sometimes. I mean how can you not have fun? It's tough to have fun when you're not playing well. But how can you not have fun, being out there playing with these guys," he says.

One guarantee: few have more fun than Jerry Kelly.
