West Milwaukee Intermediate School was closed Friday due to an early-morning bomb threat.
According to a news release, the West Milwaukee Police Department received information about the bomb threat at the school at around 6 a.m. The school is located at 5104 W. Greenfield Ave.
School officials made the decision to cancel classes for the day.
More information as to the nature of the threat was not released.
