KENOSHA -- A man was taken into custody after attempting to rob a bank in Kenosha Friday morning.
Police were called at 9:15 a.m. to Johnson Bank, 2729 18th Street.
Officials said the suspect gave the teller a note that said he had a bomb and wanted $1 million.
The Kenosha County Hazardous Device Squad (HDS) and the Kenosha County Tactical Response Team (TRT) responded and the bank was evacuated.
Kenosha police said the suspect was eventually taken into custody without incident.
There were no injuries.
