Bill Nye (the Science Guy) coming to Madison this spring to talk about climate change

MADISON — Scientist and former television host Bill Nye is coming to Madison this spring to talk about climate change.

Nye will speak at the Wisconsin Union Theater on April 21 at UW-Madison's campus as part of their Wisconsin Union Directorate’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

Nye is best known for the show "Bill Nye the Science Guy," which won 18 Emmys in five years.

The lecture will start at 7:30 p.m., and is free to attend, but a general admission ticket is required for entry. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. The one-hour conversation/lecture is free to both students and the public, and will end with a 30-minute Q&A.
