The Beloit Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman suspected of passing counterfeit bills.
Police released surveillance photos of the woman who tried to use the fake bills at two local businesses.
Authorities say the woman tried to pass a fake $100 bill at two businesses, but was denied. In both cases, she grabbed the bill and left the store.
Anyone with information about her identity is asked to call the non-emergency number at (608) 757-2244.
