BelAir Cantina, located in The Corners of Brookfield, announced that a new ice bar will be constructed in the upcoming weeks to give Wisconsinites yet another place to 'chill'.

The sculpted 19ft ice bar will open to the public Friday, Jan. 22, and will be open 4-8 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with BelAir Cantina on The Corners’ first-ever ice bar. This is yet another way for our community to feel comfortable gathering with family and friends, while having fun and enjoying the outdoors,” said Chelsea Roessler, director of marketing and events at The Corners of Brookfield. “We’re inviting everyone to bundle up and come chill out with us.”

The ice bar will be in front of BelAir Cantina and will need 10,000 pounds of ice for construction.

Ice sculpted picture frames will also be available for icy photo shoots.

“There could not be a better year for us to help bring an ice bar to The Corners. This is the perfect outdoor, fun activity for the community to experience good food, drink and times while embracing the cold with us,” said Matt Roman Lopez, director of operations at BelAir Cantina.

How long the ice bar stays up, well that will be up to Mother Nature. It'll be best to stop by sooner rather than later.
