MILWAUKEE — Storm Team 4 turned Fiserv Forum into a giant classroom for the first-ever Science Day with TMJ4 and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Meteorologists Jesse Ritka, Elissia Wilson, Brian Gotter, and Brian Niznansky used science experiments to teach Milwaukee-area students the science of Milwaukee Bucks basketball.

Lessons included Sir Isaac Newton's laws of gravity and force, parabolas, the differences between cold and warm air, and propulsion.

Joslynn, a student from Bristol, Wisconsin, said, "I love science, and I like that they made a whole day about it."

It was a lot of fun and games but there was an educational component.

"We made sure that we met standards," said Brian Gotter. "It's a field trip for classes so in order to do a field trip there has to be standards so yes, are they having fun right now? Yes, they're going to have fun during the show but it's also very educational."

Bango the Bucks mascot even took part. Using parabolas and arcs he sunk a half court shot.
