KENOSHA -- An arrest in Kenosha has lead to the seizure of multiple guns, more than 15 pounds of high-grade marijuana, ammunition, and cash from the home of an Illinois man.

31-year-old Lionel Reyes was arrested in the parking lot of the Kenosha Woodman's Market Wednesday at about 1:30 p.m. Members of the Kenosha Drug Operations Group (KDOG), Kenosha Sheriff's Department Patrol, and K9 deputies assisted in the arrest.

At the time of his arrest, officials found five vacuum sealed bags of high-grade marijuana totaling just over 5 pounds in Reyes' Cadillac Escalade - but that was just the beginning.

While Reyes was taken to the Kenosha Sheriff's Department Pretrial Jail Facility, KDOG and a Chicago DEA task force executed a search warrant at his home, where they found:

  • 10 additional pounds of high-grade marijuana (valued at $30,000)
  • 4 firearms (two pistols, a rifle, a shotgun, and ammunition)
  • An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency

KDOG is requesting Reyes be charged with two felony counts in the state of Wisconsin: Delivery of marijuana, as well as possession with intent to deliver.
