The attorney's for Brendan Dassey, the nephew of Steven Avery in the "Making a Murderer" case, have reportedly asked for the immediate release of the 27-year-old.
Avery's attorney, Jerome Buting, said on Twitter that the state has until 5 p.m. on Monday June 26 to reply.

On Thursday, a federal appeals court upheld the district court's decision to overturn the Brendan Dassey conviction.
Magistrate Judge William Duffin said in the ruling that investigators made false promises to Dassey by assuring him "he had nothing to worry about."
