Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting and attempted robbery that happened late Monday night near 50th and Capitol Drive.
Police say that the 24-year-old victim and a friend were sitting in a parked car on the 4100 block of N. 50th Street when the suspect approached, wielding a gun and attempted to rob them. The victim drove off.
The suspect then fired several shots into the vehicle causing the driver to lose control and crash into a parked car. A passenger in the vehicle was treated for non-fatal gunfire wounds.
There have been no arrests.
