After wildly popular tests in 2016, Arby's announced Wednesday that it would bring back its limited-edition venison sandwich nationwide later this month.

Venison fans will be able to get their hands on the sandwich starting October 21. Arby's says they will be available while supplies last, and are expected to go quickly.

Last year, the roast beef fast food chain tested the sandwich in five "hunting-centric markets," including Wisconsin. The demand proved to be overwhelming, with participating locations selling out in hours.

"The positive response to our limited offering of venison last year was so widespread and passionate that we knew we had to find a way to offer it nationwide," said Jim Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer of Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc.

The sandwich features a thick-cut venison steak, as well as crispy onions topped with a juniper berry sauce, served on a toasted specialty roll. The venison is "marinated in garlic, salt, and pepper and then sous-vide for three hours to juicy, tender perfection."

Looking for something a little more adventurous? Arby's next experiment is elk sandwiches, avalable later this month in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.
