An Amtrak train was evacuated Tuesday night after a battery pack started a fire under the locomotion.
The fire started around 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Airport Amtrak station on Hiawatha train 339 traveling from Chicago to Milwaukee.
The 201 passengers and crew on board were able to get off safely. No one was injured in the fire.
The fire has since been extinguished. Delays are expected on Hiawatha trains 341 and 342.
