MILWAUKEE — The American Transmission Company is donating 510 trees as a part of the Milwaukee Bucks' Trees for Threes program.
For every three-pointer that the Bucks made at home, a tree will be donated.
The trees will be given to about 125 Wisconsin schools that registered for the Bucks Trees for Threes program.
Including the 31 games at Fiserv Forum and four “home” seeding games, the Bucks managed to knock down 510 three-pointers. According to the Bucks, "this was the most threes made at home by any team in the Eastern Conference and ranked as the third-most in the NBA overall."
Last season, the Bucks knocked down 573 three-pointers. Throughout the four seasons of the program, a total of 1,781 trees have now been donated to make the state of Wisconsin greener.
