All lanes were blocked on I-43 north at 124th Street due to several accidents Wednesday morning.
The interstate was shut down near Hales Corners from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, there were three or four separate crashes between 112th and 124th streets.
They said there were six to seven vehicles involved, including a jack-knifed semi truck.
No word on injuries, but there are several medical vehicles on the scene.
