KENOSHA — Two men are dead and a teen is injured after separate shootings in Kenosha Wednesday night. Family identifies one of the men as 24-year-old Dajun Williams.

Kenosha police said they were called to a report of shots fired just before 10:30 Wednesday night. They found two people who were shot. Williams died at the scene. A 13-year-old male teen was transported to the hospital for a gunshot injury that’s non-life-threatening.

Justice is what family and friends of Williams are looking for. His mom, Sheryl O’Bannon talked with TMJ4 News briefly at the scene just south of downtown Kenosha at 61st Street and 11th Avenue.

“All I want is justice for my son, that's all I want,” O’Bannon said.

Tyhiem Ahearn can hardly process the news. Williams was like a brother to his closest friend, going back to middle school.

“I ain't never ever think this was going to happen to him,” Ahearn said. “I’m lost right now like I literally got an empty spot in my heart right now.”

His aunt, Sheilita McDonald said Williams always had a smile on his face.

“He always made everybody laugh, he was very goofy,” McDonald said.

She said Williams was like a son.

“There's a lot of emotion, you know mentally physically, you try to be strong,” McDonald said.

Ahearn had a child of his own, a young boy, and one on the way.

“He loved his son more than he loved himself,” Ahearn said.

Now Ahearn will make sure to tell Williams’ kids all about their dad.

“I’ll miss him a lot,” Ahearn said.

Police are still looking for those responsible. If you have any information about what happened call Kenosha Police Detective Bureau at 262-605-5203. You can call anonymously to Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at 262-656-7333.
