POLICE SAY THE MAN WAS TRAPPED IN HIS VEHICLE, he was extracted and transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. — The Racine Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving a parked car that occurred on Oct. 19 at approximately 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of Water St. and Park Ave.
Upon arrival, police say officers located a vehicle with "substantial damage" and the man who was driving, trapped inside.
The Racine Fire Department extracted the man and transported him to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
He was later identified as 36-year-old Douglas Strelecki of Racine.
