CHICO, Calif. -- Aaron Rodgers has donated helmets to three high schools in Butte County. The donation comes one year after the county was largely impacted by the Camp Fire.

A news release from the organization VICIS says Aaron Rodgers bought and gifted 375 VICIS ZERO1 football helmets for players at Pleasant Valley High School, Chico High School and Paradise High School. Rodgers is originally from Chico and a Pleasant Valley High School alumnus.

Rick Prinz, Paradise High School Coach, stated in the news release that Rodgers’ donation helps players “feel normal again.”

VICIS also shared two videos of student players thanking Aaron Rodgers for his donation.

Aaron Rodgers is an investor in VICIS, an organization that develops helmets designed to better protect athletes.
