SOUTH MILWAUKEE -- A man is recovering after being pulled from Lake Michigan in South Milwaukee Friday night.
The South Milwaukee Fire Department says the man was rescued from the water near the South Milwaukee Yacht Club just before 9:00 p.m.
With the help of several bystanders, the police and fire departments were able to pull the man from the water and onto a dock.
The man had no pulse when he was removed from the water and resuscitation efforts were started immediately.
He was taken to Ascension Hospital in Franklin and is in stable condition.
