FORT ATKINSON -- Nothing says happy 94th birthday like jumping 10,000 feet out of a plane, in the eyes of 94-year-old Ella Wakerhauser.
"I thought well, if I am going to die, I am going to die doing and I thought, well, that's okay. I am 93 years old," Wakerhauser said in an interview with NBC 15.
Wakerhauser grew up in the Great Depression, raised four children and was married for 50 years. Unfortunately, her husband has passed away from cancer, but that hasn't stopped this 94-year-old from enjoying life to the fullest.
Her son Dan Kurtz said that his mom is "more full of life now than she has been in a lot of years."
"I wasn't a bit scared... maybe it's because I am old... laughs," Wakerhauser said.
