MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a 9-year-old boy.
Police say the shooting took place shortly after noon Wednesday on the 6000 block of W. Kaul Avenue.
The 9-year-old boy was taken a local hospital for treatment. He is in serious, but stable condition.
Police say a juvenile and a 29-year-old woman were arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the upcoming days.
