MILWAUKEE -- Nine Wisconsin universities left their mark in Wallethub's 2018 Best Universities Rankings.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison came in at number 10 in the Midwest and ranked 72nd nationally. The only other school to make the top 100 in the country was the Milwaukee School of Engineering, which ranked 15th in the Midwest.
Carthage College took 62nd place in the Midwest, followed by St. Norbert College in 71st and Mount Mary University in 73rd. Marquette University ranked 77th, Viterbo University 89th, Lakeland University 90th and last but not least, Edgewood College 93rd.
850 schools were analyzed based on factors such as cost, campus safety and career outcomes.
