FOND DU LAC – Nine people were taken to the hospital after a major crash involving four vehicles in Fond du Lac.
The crash was reported around 5 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Highway 23 and Whispering Springs.
The Fond du Lac Fire Department says one of those injuries is life-threatening. Flight for Life was unable to be called to the scene because of the inclement weather.
Multiple crashes were reported Sunday evening by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation due to the slippery roads. Drivers are reminded to drive slow with their headlights on and to watch-out for back-ups.
