MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. — Authorities in Illinois are investigating an Oconomowoc woman's death, and her son is now facing murder charges.
The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office says deputies found 70-year-old Sharon Stoner unresponsive in Machesney Park, Illinois, on Monday morning.
She later died on scene.
Authorities did not explain how she was killed.
Her son, 46-year-old Kent Stoner, is now in the Winnebago County Jail.
He's charged with first-degree murder and could face up to life in prison if convicted.
