A 65-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle when she was crossing the road in New Berin.
The woman was crossing in the 16000 block of W. National Ave. when a 17-year-old New Berlin female struck her.
The 65-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 17-year-old driver remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with the investigation. She did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to police.
