WEST BEND -- A 6-year-old girl has died after being pulled from a pond in West Bend this past weekend.
West Bend police said the girl -- identified as Swannie Her -- was at the Regner Park Swimming Pond with several family members on Saturday.
Shortly before 6 p.m., officials said a swimmer found Swannie unresponsive in the water and carried her to shore.
The girl was taken to the hospital and treated for drowning related symptoms. She was pronounced dead at the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials are investigating the incident as an accidental drowning.
