RED LAKE, MN — Six puppies and their mom were rescued after they were found in a snow drift in Minnesota.

When the puppies were rescued, they were just three weeks old and shelter staff have no idea how they survived.

The dog, Snowbelle, was huddled with her puppies in the snow when a concerned family found them. That family then drove them to a rescue shelter in Red Lake, Minnesota.

According to a Facebook post from the shelter, the puppies were very hungry when they were found and Snowbelle had no milk to give them.

However, after a few days of care, Snowbelle was able to produce milk again for her babies.

Red Lake Rosie's Rescue shared additional photos of the puppies, stating that Snowbelle is now fixed and her puppies are being adopted.
