MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened Tuesday, Sept. 22, on the 1000 block of West Greenfield Ave., around 9:40 p.m.
According to police, a 57-year-old man was shot during unknown circumstances.
Police are investigating the shooting.
According to the Medical Examiner, Milwaukee may break a record for homicides this year, surpassing the 168 recorded in 2016.
If current trends continue, Milwaukee County on track to record more than 200 homicides this year.
