WEST ALLIS — The 51-year-old West Allis woman who was killed after falling in an alley and being run over near 58th and Lincoln early Friday has been identified as Jean Haas, according to the West Allis Police Department.
Haas was walking in the alley when she fell. She was struck by a vehicle traveling in the alley a few minutes later.
The driver of that vehicle, a 53-year-old West Allis man, did not immediately stop and render aid, nor did he call 911, according to police.
The driver was arrested for hit and run – causing death. A charging decision is pending.
