FOND DU LAC — Police are investigating after a child was hit by a car Tuesday night near a Fond du Lac park.
Fond du Lack police said the incident happened just before 9 p.m. at Lakeside Park West. Police officers responded to a call stating a 5-year-old was hit by a car in the parking lot north of the boat launch area.
Life-saving measures were starting on the child and he was transported to St. Agnes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No other details were released.
