MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the death of a 49-year-old woman after she was shot and dragged by a vehicle.
Police say two people were shot around 10:50 a.m. on Friday in the 4400 block of N 27th St.
One suspect was a 28-year-old male who was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The other victim, a 49-year-old woman, was shot and dragged by a vehicle. She was then pronounced dead.
The driver of that vehicle stayed on the scene and cooperated with police.
