MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a death of a 43-year-old man that happened in the Kinnickinnic River on Saturday.
Milwaukee police and fire crews responded to a call of a subject in the water in the area of S. Chase and S. Water around 5 p.m.
Police say the 43-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were pulled from the water and the 43-year-old man was pronounced deceased at a local hospital. The other man was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the death does not appear to be suspicious and their investigation is ongoing.
No other information has been released.
