MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shootings Monday night on the city’s north side.

  • A 7-year-old boy was shot and injured just before 9:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Hampton Avenue. Right now, the child is in stable condition and is recovering from his injuries at a local hospital. Police said the child did not appear to be the intended target of this shooting.
  • A 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were shot in the 4300 block of N. 26th Street around 10 p.m. Police say both victims are being treated at an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
  • A 18-year-old man was shot in the 4800 block of W. Fond du Lac Avenue that occurred also around 10 p.m. He is now recovering from non-life threatening injuries at an area hospital.

Police said the motives in all of the shooting are currently unclear. Police are also looking for the suspects involved in all of these incidents.
